In 76, Rebecca started fiddling with ceramics. Before she knew it, shed stopped making the smaller pots and progressed to massive torsos and sconces. She now works only on commission.

All her work is stone-fired hence can be used internally or internally without the danger of being damaged by frost and extreme weather.

She makes her own glazes, a lot of which, are made out of wood ash from different trees.

She also high fires oxides to achieve the metallic sheen she is known for.

Volcanic and lava glazes are also created for that organic look.

The organic and "cracked" torsos and sconces make them ideal light features.

A documentary was made about her for the Arts Channel called fired Earth, a link of which will be added to this site soon. She also opened a gallery in Soho for all different mediums, and has exhibited extensively in many places including the Oxo Tower on two occasions, one of which was specifically for her totem poles!!
